On-line Entry Payment Options
To enter the event go to the Enter Now tab above and then click the Enter all Running Events tab. This will take you to a secure entry system where you can chose your event and pay on line with a MASTERCARD or VISA. You will need to have an email address to receive your confirmation of entry. Please be careful to enter the email address correctly or the confirmation will not reach you.
When entering you will be asked if you are:
1. an individual wanting to enter - This is for individuals that are NOT part of a larger staff or group of individuals who are representing a business or group.
2. wanting to join an existing team - This is for anyone who is aware someone from their organisation has set up a team entry group. Just join the team by following the prompts.
3. wanting to create a new group team - This is anyone who wants to create a team that other people can enter like a business or club/group. This can be 'pay as you go' or also be paid in bulk by the team manager. See below:
With approval from the event manager we can also set up a system that allows staff or associates you wish to pay for to enter on line without paying directly. This managed teams system will allow you to give a password to anyone you wish to enter. They simply enter the password and can enter without paying. This means no collecting entry forms. The Team Manager must confirm the entries and then pay via card or account before the entries can be confirmed as accepted.
Contact the event manager for details of this process on admin@hevents.com.au

Other Important Information
Race Timing
Blitz Sports Timing will be timing the event with the world famous IPICO timing system. Computer timing chips will be distributed to each competitor. You must wear the chip on your shoe. It must be laced into the shoe. Please remember NO CHIP equals NO RESULT. Interim times will be available soon after the last competitor is finished.
Race Presentation
The race presentation will be held at approximately 11.30am at the Race Compound.
Left Bag transport/security
For 10km competitors a ‘left baggage’ area will be available on Sunday at the race start and gear will be transported to the finish line. A secure bag area will be provided at the Start/Finish area for the Half Marathon.
Getting there and Parking
Limited race day parking will be available in the Empire Park and Bar Beach Car Park. Additional parking is also available opposite the Merewether Surf Club and around Merewether Baths, off John Parade. Please do not park in driveways and respect the Sunday sleep-in by keeping noise to a minimum. Participants in the 10km race are advised to park their car at the finish area and catch the free courtesy buses from the finish on the harbour to the 10km start at Bar Beach.
Buses leave Customs House from the harbour end of Watt Street from 6.30am- 7.45am.
Spectators
There is no shortage of things to do in and around the Race Compound while waiting for runners to finish. There will be food and drinks available, amusement rides and live music. So bring the crew to cheer you along!
Aid Stations
Will be situated no more than 2.5km apart. Water will be available on every station. Fruit and electrolyte drinks will be available at the end of the race and on the selected stations for Half Marathon competitors.
First Aid
Medical personnel will be available at the start, on the course and finish Race compound.
Prizes
Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes in all age categories except the 10k walk category (which is a participation only category). Competitors in the 10km walk will receive a time but no prizes will be allocated. Overall Male and Female winners are also awarded Trophies. Random draws or participant race numbers will take place during all presentations with great prizes awarded!
Wheel Chair Participants
H Events welcomes all participants, and encourages active particpation by all individuals in sports events. Unfortunately due to the various uneven surfaces a specific wheel chair race or category is not possible. We are happy to look at individual circumstances, and will endeavour to provide a suitably challenging course for competitors with special needs. Please contact us directly if you have any concerns or queries.
Volunteers
The event requires over 100 race crew from local Surf Life Saving Clubs. They will be assisted on the roads by our team of Accredited Traffic controllers from C.R.E.S.T. All organisations will be the recipients of donations for work with their projects. If you are interested in helping out, contact us at admin@hevents.com.au and we will put you in touch with the volunteer coordinator.
