The event is now concluded. Thanks to our sponosrs Newcastle Herald, Marathon Tyres, Hunter Valley Orthodontics, On-Running and Carraro Design. Also thanks to our volunteers crew from Nobbys, Newcastle, Cooks Hill and Dixon Park SLSC's, CREST, St Johns and also Newcastle Council and Police. Lastly, thanks to the runners, walkers and skippers, who did their best and got active.
Our record field enjoyed perfect weather and one of the most scenic courses in Australia. The winner of April Fools Day best dressed has donated their $500 prize to Sids for Kids. Our childrens charities runners sponsorship program has raised over $20,000 so far. If you still want to sponsor a runner, click the links at the bottom of this page.
Results were available on Sunday at the race and will also be published in the Newcastle Herald on Tuesday 3 April.
